We went for our sonogram yesterday. 19 weeks and 6 days. We were certainly hoping that we would be able to find out the sex of our baby. Isn’t technology great? We sure think so! Here are some pictures just to get you excited.
We had the technician write down the sex of the baby and seal it in an envelope to be opened only by us once we were sitting down to dinner together.
Needless to say, we are so excited. This little lady is gonna be an awesome woman of God. No doubt about it. We can already feel her exitement to be here with us!
Oh, and in case you were wondering about the belly…

This is honestly one of the most amazing times in my whole life. Amazing, scary, exciting, nerve-racking, filled with wonder and awe, constantly causing me to rejoice and, at the same time, get down and pray.
There are many things that I will never experience that Dana will, but the most wonderful thing is to have a wife who actively wants to include you in everything. Time with mama and baby is precious. Sitting and playing the guitar and singing to the belly is a delight.
Praying together has taken on another dimension as well, knowing that there is a third spirit there with us in the middle of our time before the Father.
I am so proud to be the father of this little one coming at such an amazing time.
I am also constantly asking for the grace to be what this child needs.
_Dad, thank you for the example you are to me… it helps knowing you did pretty good with what you had and never gave up on any of us. Ever. Your unconditional love is inspiring._
