Our beautiful daughter joined our little family on February 9th, 2008 at 12:32pm. She weighed 7lbs. 9oz. and was 20.5 inches long. She has a full head of medium-brown hair (which Daddy likes to make into a faux-hawk).
As is normal with most babies, Ruth lost a bit of weight after being born. But thanks to Eve, the miracle-working Lactation Specialist, a Breast-Friend and some strategic repositioning, she gained 8 ounces in 24 hours!
Ruth Anne is a wonderful little lady and we are so thankful she is part of our family.

I just want to tell you how much I have enjoyed your company the last couple of months. It has been so wonderful to experience this journey together, from being pregnant to now being mommy’s. I love watching you fall in love with little Ruthie and just being the best mommy ever. You are such a beautiful woman, but now that you are a mother, there’s a whole new glow and beauty about you; words just can’t explain. I’m so lucky to have you in my life and to be able to share all the wonderful moments with you has been with out a doubt AWESOME. I wish my mom was here to witness my miracle boy Elliott, but having you by my side has helped with me missing her terribly during this time. I LOVE YOU CHICA!!!
